Personal Bill of Rights ♡

This is very important to know. I think we forget that we are human sometimes and we let other use and abuse us. It's okay to help others and be a bit relaxed when it comes to some situations. But you never want it to get out of hand. To respect others you have to respect yourself!

I have this cognitive book from school and it's nice to read through and I wanted to share the Personal Bill of Rights with you all c: ♡ Please read these out loud and to others. Also share!

- I have the right to ask for what I want.
- I have the right to say "NO" to a request or demands I cannot meet.
- I have the right to express all of my feelings, both positive and negative.
- I have the right to change my mind.
- I have the right to make mistakes and to not be perfect.
- I have the right to follow my own values and standards.
- I have the right to say "NO" to anything when I feel I am not ready, it is unsafe, or it violates my values.
- I have the right to determine my own priorities.
- I have the right not to be responsible for others' behaviors, feelings, or problems.
- I have the right not to expect honesty from others.
- I have the right to be angry with someone I love.
- I have the right to be uniquely myself.
- I have the right to feel scared and say, "I'm afraid."
- I have the right to say, "I don't know."
- I have the right not to give excuses or reasons for my behavior.
- I have the right to make decisions based on my own feelings.
- I have the right to my own needs for personal space and time.
- I have the right to be playful and frivolous.
- I have the right to be healthier than those around me.
- I have the right to be in a non-abusive environment.
- I have the right to make friends and feel comfortable around people.
- I have the right to change and grow.
- I have the right to have my needs and wants respected by others.
- I have the right to be treated with dignity and respect.
- I have the right to be happy.

These are all in respect for yourself and others. Please remember that it crosses the line when there is discrimination and plain meanness involved. If so, then maturely work things out and if you can't then you don't need that person in your life. No one should ever put down someone for anything unless they are mentally or physically harming you. Yes the world can suck, but there is some true goodness in people too.

Please remember these Rights and spread love and equality to all!

Tata for now, teacups!

Calming Teas ♡

Tea is a very good way to be at peace and feel relaxed when life gets really hectic and stressful. I definitely love tea and choose to drink it over any other beverage if available. There are different kinds of teas that have different shades of color, scent, and taste! Teas are very diverse because they are different mixtures of all natural herbs, flowers, and more which is absolutely wonderful. You can choose a loose leaf tea to steep or simple tea that comes in ready to go to packages.

 Calming Teas

Chamomile Tea
Peppermint Tea
Lemon Balm Tea
Sleepy Time Tea
& more!!!

The options are endless with tea! Just make sure that the tea you have has little to no caffeine since the caffeine won't really relax you. You can add sugar or honey to your tea for added sweetness or drink it plain like I do! Sugar is nice but that can also make you hyper and less calm. I would say just a tad bit of sweetness will do. I also find if very helpful to drink tea in the morning that is caffeinated instead of coffee and drink uncaffeinated tea at night before bed! There is also this tea that I like to get at this dessert restaurant here in San Diego that I absolutely love and they have a variety of loose leaf teas that I try all the time! (I'll do a post on that sometime).

Get a cute mug and sit down and relax with your favorite tea!~ ^o^
ENJOY~
